This year, 2009, has not been a good year for our family. We lost our mom, wife, Bubbe and friend, Ruth. She passed away on July 19, 2009. It was very sad and we all miss her terribly.
My father, Sid, has had his share of trouble this year, too. Along with losing his wife, he also ended up in the hospital just 3 weeks after the death of his beloved wife. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and dehydration. He entered the Life Care Center for a five week stay and we are happy to report that he is back home with us now. He is still rehabbing at home, but getting better every day.

I am still plugging away at the website design business www.yourwebbit.com a website design company for individuals who don't feel comfortable making their own sites and putting them out on the World Wide Web. I also design websites for small businesses who currently do not have a web presence. I feel that the small businesses should have the same web presence that the larger companies have.
Wags is going to be 13 this year in December. We have had a rough year with him. He stopped eating in early October, took him to the vet and have been told that his body is attacking his blood cells. We are trying new drugs and blood tests and we are now into the doggish member of the family for over $600, but if we can give him a few more quality months, it is worth it. We know that old age is hard. We try to make him as comfortable as possible. He still thinks he is a pup.
